Warms Springs Ranch is home to a tennis court which in recent years has become popular for residents to play pickleball. There is a core group of residents who gather on a regular schedule and they are always interested in teaching others how to play. To get connected with this group please reach out to the HOA General Manager.
There are a number of hikes available within a short distance of the Ranch, and even some hikes right here on property. All Trails is a great resource to find local hikes. Their main website is AllTrails: Trail Guides & Maps for Hiking, Camping, and Running | AllTrails.
Our neighbor, The Tarrayll Valley has a number of hikes, a reservoir and is also a great location for dispersed camping. Take a look here.
Alma is host to a great hike for 14er enthusiasts, you can reach the tops of 4 different mountains in one 8 mile loop. Check out Lincoln, Democrat, Bross and Cameron rather than the overpopulated Quandary if you want to see the world from up on top. Trail Information here.
Another 14er right near us is Mt. Sherman. This is said to be one of the easiest 14ers to hike. You can find information on this trail here.
Warm Springs Hiking Trails are another great option. Warm Springs Trail Map 2017-03-14
This is a map provided by one of our residents who tracks his hikes using a GPS Tracker.
Park County has put together a number of brochures of local tours you can take if you are looking for something fun to do.
You can find more information about these local walking and driving tours on their website, Maps & Brochures – Explore Park County.
Have you ever wondered what it would have been like living in Fairplay back when it got it’s name? You should check out the South Park City Museum and take a step back in history. www.southparkcity.org
ATVS, OHVs and Dirtbikes
If you are an OHV enthusiast there are a number of great trails and adventure opportunities in the area. Please make sure you trailer any unlicensed vehicles to the trial head and always make sure you ONLY ride on trials that are marked for motorized use. Together and through responsible stewardship we can make sure this sport is available for years to come. Just north of Warm Springs off County Road 20 is a plethora of trails and single track up towards Brown’s Pass. There is an app called Offroad Atlas which will show you these trails so you do not get lost. I’ve attached a screenshot showing the Mullenville Loop circled in Blue so you can see the scope of just some of the trails this app shows you. You can find the app download on the web at https://offroadatlas.org/
